Open Letter To The Governor of Akwa Ibom
I won't dispute the fact that Goodswill Akpabio is performing. But I think with the amount of federal allocation that is been accrue to Akwa Ibom state and coupled with all their various internal generated revenue (IGR) from all the oil processing firms and other businesses, I think they deserve more than what is presently on ground. I think Akwa Ibom state receives the highest federal allocation which is double of what Lagos state is receiving.
In conclusion, if a person of fashola is in the position of Akpabio I think by now all Akwa Ibom state will be like dubai and all her citizen will be entitle to a form of allowances couple with many free basic amenities. But what do we have there, we still have a lot of their citizens doing housegirl and other mania jobs all over the major cities of the nation. There is no development when the human development capacity is not been improve upon. But since we are new to development, that is why we keep praising a governor who is planting flowers and building drainages as development even when he is dishing out 1million naira each to party chairmen as money for launch at mr. Biggs.
