NIS Tragedy; Omojuwa, Briggs taken to custody by the SSS for leading protests

Human right activist, Blogger and Public speaker; Japheth Omojuwa has been arrested. He was arrested this afternoon in Abuja alongside another activist,  Uche Briggs for leading a protest for victims of the Nigerian Immigration Service employment test that took place on March 10.

 They protested against the fact that there has been no justice sought for the lives lost during the National Immigration Service recruitment exercise. Another activist, known on Twitter as @xeenarh, Azeenah Mohammed was reportedly arrested too after she went to look for Omojuwa.Xeenarh was one of the active voices during the Occupy Nigeria protests.
