KANO STATE SPEAKER RESIGNS.

Gambo Salau, Speaker, Kano State House of Assembly has resigned his position in the 40-man Assembly.
In a statement, Tuesday, the Speaker said his resignation was sequel to the mass defection of PDP lawmakers to the All Progressives Congress, APC, yesterday, stressing that defecting to the opposition party contradicts his principles.
Gambo Salau therefore declared that he is still a PDP member.
