LATE GOVERNOR YAKOWA'S BROTHER IS DEAD

On Saturday, another heartbreak has hit the family of the late Governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa with a sudden demise of his brother, Adamu Yakowa.

It was learnt that Adamu Yakowa died at the Kafachan General hospital, area of Jema’s local government of Kaduna State, after battling a protracted sickness.
This is just less than one month after the demise of Governor Yakowa in a navalhelicopter crash in Bayelsa State on December 15th 2012.
A family member, Mr. Shagari Borgo, who confirmed the death, said it happened at about 8:30 yesterday morning.
He said that Mr Adamu Yakowa had fallen sick at the week of late Governor Yakowa’s demise, adding "late Adamu has been sick for a while."
Family members described late Adamu as a gentleman and peace-loving human being. He left behind his wife and five children.
Adamu Yakowa worked with the Kaduna Vehicle Inspection Office and retired as a senior staff.
The family is expected to formally announce the demise of the late Adamu.
